INNOVATION IS THE MOTHER OF DEVELOPMENT: UVUMBUZI NI MAMA WA MAENDELEO TANZANIA TUPO WAPI?


Uvumbuzi huendana na ubunifu. Kila mvumbuzi ni mbunifu. Ripoti ya dunia inaonyesha kuwa nchi zenye uwezo mkubwa kutumia uvumbuzi ama kuuzalisha zinaendelea vyema zaidi kiuchumi kwa kuwa uvumbuzi ni kichocheo muhimu cha maendeleo.
Ripoti ya uvumbuzi duniani inaonyesha kuwa nchi za Afrika zipo mbali mno kwenye orodha hiyo, japokuwa Kenya, Rwanda, na Madagascar zimetajwa kama nchi zenye kuibukia kwenye uvumbuzi. Tanzania haitajwi katika kundi la nchi zinazoibukia katika kundi hilo na wakati huohuo tunataka kuingia uchumi wa kati. Kuingia uchumi wa kati inawezekana; hakuna jambo lolote lenyekufuata kanuni za kimantiki lisilowezekana hapa duniani. Hivyo Tanzania inaweza kuingia uchumi wa kati ifikapo 2025, hata hivyo ili jambo hilo liwezekane basi tunalazimika kufanya mambo mengi kuboresha mambo mengi yenye kuendesha uchumi wa nchi. 
Lazima tubadilishe mfumo wetu wa elimu ili elimu hiyo iwajengee watoto wetu uwezo mkubwa wa kufikiria, kutafakari mambo kwa kina na kutatua matatizo ya jamii. Elimu yetu iondokane kwenye kasumba tu ya cheti; tuwapime wahitimu wetu kwa uwezo wao kutatua matatizo ya jamii.

Tunalazimika kuboresha kwa kina hasa maisha na huduma mbalimbali za kijamii za watu wanaoishi vijijini; umasikini mkubwa Tanzania upo vijijini. Maisha vijijini hutegemea zaidi kilimo, kwahiyo basi tunalazimika kukiboresha kwa juhudi kubwa kilimo chetu. Kilimo kiongezewe thamani kwa kuanzisha viwanda vidogo vidogo vya kusindika mazao hayo. 

Yanaweza kufanyika mengi haya ni kwa uchache tu. Tukiboresha elimu na kuweza kuchochea uwezo wa fikra za watu wetu hapo tutakuwa tumefanikiwa....

Switzerland has held onto its title as the world’s most innovative economy in the latest Global Innovation Index.
The 2016 index, produced by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Cornell University and INSEAD, assesses the innovation performance of 128 global economies. This year is notable for China’s breakthrough into the top 25. It marks the first time a middle-income country has taken a place among highly-developed economies in the survey’s 9-year history.

Switzerland claims the top spot as the world’s most innovative economy – a position it has held for six years. The European nation scores highly on a range of indices, from government effectiveness to business sophistication, and creative goods and services.
Sweden climbs one place to take second, swapping places with the United Kingdom. It scored highly on infrastructure, human capital and research.
An all-European top 3 is completed by the United Kingdom. Like Sweden, it scored highly for infrastructure, as well as market sophistication and creative outputs.

The rise of China

For the first time since the index started, China takes a place in the top 25, rising from 29th last year.
The report attributes this to improved performance, as well as methodological changes in the index. However, the authors highlight the continuing “innovation divide” between the developed and developing world. The majority of innovative activity is concentrated in high-income economies and a few middle-income economies, including China, India and South Africa.

However, there is good news, with several African economies named “innovation achievers”. They include countries like Kenya, Madagascar and Rwanda, and were found to perform at least “10% higher than their peers for their level of GDP”.

The importance of innovation

Innovation remains a key driver of economic growth, as highlighted by both the Global Innovation Index and the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report.
Innovation is one of the 12 pillars of competitiveness in the Forum’s report, and it looks set to play an ever more important role, says Margareta Drzeniek Hanouz, one of the economists behind the report.
“In the future, a country’s socio-economic progress will be increasingly determined by its ability to innovate and adapt quickly to new environments. Scientific and technological research and development, creativity, new business ideas and the ability to implement new business models will also increasingly determine a country’s success.”

Elie Wiesel, Dies at 87

Elie Wiesel, the prolific Nobel Peace Prize laureate whose memoir about surviving Nazi concentration camps was one of the most poignant accounts of the Holocaust, has died. He was 87.
Wiesel's son, Elisha Wiesel, told NBC News on Saturday that the author had died, and said the family is observing Shabbat and has requested privacy at the moment.
Wiesel was born in 1928 in Romania. At the age of 15 he was deported to Auschwitz with his family, where his mother and sister died. Wiesel and his father were later taken to Buchenwald. His sick and malnourished father died there following a beating from a German soldier. Wiesel chronicled the experience in his acclaimed 1955 autobiography, "Night."
The atrocities he witnessed fueled Wiesel to combat inhumanity around the world, including in the former Yugoslavia and in Darfur — efforts that in 1986, earned him a Nobel Peace Prize.
"We must speak, we must take sides, for neutrality helps the oppressor — never the victim," he said upon receiving the prize.
The prize's citation referred to him as "a messenger to mankind."
"My father raised his voice to presidents and prime ministers when he felt issues on the world stage demanded action," Elisha Wiesel said in a statement released later Saturday. "But those who knew him in private life had the pleasure of experiencing a gentle and devout man who was always interested in others, and whose quiet voice moved them to better themselves."
"I will hear that voice for the rest of my life, and hope and pray that I will continue to earn the unconditional love and trust he always showed me," Elisha Wiesel said.
Tributes for Wiesel immediately started pouring in Saturday, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling him a "beacon of light to the humanity of people who believed in the good of everyone."
President Barack Obama said, "Elie Wiesel was one of the great moral voices of our time, and in many ways, the conscience of the world."
The World Jewish Congress President Ronald Lauder said in a statement that Wiesel "was more than a revered writer. He was also a teacher for many of us. He taught us about the horrors of Auschwitz. He taught us about Judaism, about Israel, and about not being silent in the face of injustice."
Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, who a few months ago gave Wiesel the medal of Honorary Citizen of Jerusalem, said of the author: "Instead of giving in to despair, the face of evil and cruelty that at the time was the darkest of humanity, he carried all the way through the message of tolerance and peace for all peoples of the world."
Following the war, Wiesel was sent to a French orphanage, where he was reunited with his older sisters, Beatrice and Hilda. He first took up writing in his 20s, when he became a journalist for French and Israeli publications.
Despite later becoming a ubiquitous, first-hand account of surviving the Holocaust, "Night" sold under 2,000 copies in the United States in the first 18 months after it was published.
It has now sold more than 6 million copies, according to Israeli newspaperHaaretz, which first reported Wiesel's death.
Wiesel originally wrote "Night" in French and had it translated into English. The book was standard reading material in schools around the world and enjoyed renewed popularity when Oprah Winfrey chose a new translation of "Night" by Wiesel's wife, Austrian Holocaust survivor Marion Rose, for her book club in 2006.
Wiesel and Marion married in Jerusalem in 1969. She also translated his future books, including "Dawn" and "Day," which completed his trilogy series on the Holocaust. In all, he wrote more than 50 works of fiction and nonfiction.
Wiesel met his wife in New York, where he had moved to in 1955. Over the years, he became a vocal activist, earning him the U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom in addition to the Nobel Peace Prize for speaking out against discrimination and racism.
Marion Wiesel said in a statement Saturday: "My husband was a fighter. He fought for the memory of the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust, and he fought for Israel. He waged countless battles for innocent victims regardless of ethnicity or creed."
"But what was most meaningful to him was teaching the innumerable students who attended his university classes," she said. "We are deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support we have already seen in the wake of his passing."
Wiesel became an outspoken advocate of education on the Holocaust when President Jimmy Carter appointed him chairman of the Presidential Commission on the Holocaust in 1978. In that role, he helped create the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.
A quote from Wiesel — "for the dead and the living, we must bear witness" — is displayed at the museum's entrance.
Wiesel didn't shy away from his past. In 2006, he went to Auschwitz with Winfrey, and in 2009, Wiesel went with President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel to a trip to the Buchenwald concentration camp.
His faith never wavered. At the Holocaust Days of Remembrance Ceremony in April 2009, standing alongside Obama in the Capitol Rotunda, Wiesel said, "I belong to a traumatized generation that felt abandoned by God and betrayed by mankind. And yet, I believe that one must not estrange from God or mankind.
Later in life, he made news for another reason: He was one of the victims of Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme. His foundation, the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity, lost more than $15 million it had invested with Madoff, and he and his wife lost savings.
When asked to describe Madoff, Wiesel told The New York Times, "Psychopath — it's too nice a word for him."
Obama said that he first came to know Wiesel through his account of the Holocaust, but "I was also honored and deeply humbled to call him a dear friend." The president recalled visiting Buchenwald with Wiesel, where the author was held as a teenager.
"At the end of our visit to Buchenwald, Elie said that after all that he and the other survivors had endured, 'we had the right to give up on humanity,'" Obama said. "But he said, 'we rejected that possibility ... we said, no, we must continue believing in a future.'"
"Tonight, we give thanks that Elie never gave up on humanity and on the progress that is possible when we treat one another with dignity and respect," Obama said.

UBUNIFU KATIKA UCHEKESHAJI?

Ukosefu wa ajira unawafanya vijana kutazama vipaji vyao ili kujipatia kipato na kuendesha maisha yao. Vipaji ni muhimu mno katika furaha ya kweli na utimizaji wa ndoto maishani. Mifumo ya elimu yetu na malezi nyumbani vinapaswa kugundua vipaji vya vijana wangali wadogo na kuwaelekeza huko ili kwamba hata masomo yao yaendane na vipaji hivyo.

Mifumo yetu ya elimu ikifuata ugunduzi wa vipaji vya vijana wetu nadhani, kwa kiasi kikubwa tutaweza kupunguza kwa kiasi kikubwa sana ukosefu wa ajira. Inawezekana kwa kuwa kila mmoja wetu ana vipaji na uwezo ambao ukinguduliwa na kuendelezwa vizuri atakuwa mtaalaamu kupindukia katika eneo husika.

THE STORY OF St.Valentine

Story of St. Valentine

"The story of Valentine's Day begins in the third century with an oppressive Roman emperor and a humble Christian Martyr.   The emperor was Claudius II.   The Christian was Valentinus.
Claudius had ordered all Romans to worship twelve gods, and had made it a crime punishable by death to associate with Christians.   But Valentinus was dedicated to the ideals of Christ; not even the threat of death could keep him from practicing his beliefs.   He was arrested and imprisoned.
During the last weeks of Valentinus's life a remarkable thing happened.   Seeing that he was a man of learning, the jailer asked whether his daughter, Julia, might be brought to Valentinus for lessons.   She had been blind since birth.   Julia was a pretty young girl with a quick mind.   Valentinus read stories of Rome's history to her.   He described the world of nature to her.   He taught her arithmetic and told her about God.  She saw the world through his eyes, trusted his wisdom, and found comfort in his quiet strength.
"Valentinus, does God really hear our prayers?" Julia asked one day.
"Yes, my child, He hears each one."
"Do you know what I pray for every morning and every night?  I pray that I might see.   I want so much to see everything you've told me about!"
"God does what is best for us if we will only believe in Him," Valentinus said.
"Oh, Valentinus, I do believe! I do!"  She knelt and grasped his hand.
They sat quietly together, each praying.   Suddenly there was a brilliant light in the prison cell.   Radiant, Julia screamed, "Valentinus, I can see!  I can see!"
"Praise be to God!"  Valentinus exclaimed, and he knelt in prayer.
On the eve of his death Valentinus wrote a last note to Julia, urging her to stay close to God.   He signed it, "From your Valentine."  His sentence was carried out the next day, February 14, 270 A.D., near a gate that was later named Porta Valentini in his memory.   He was buried at what is now the Church of Praxedes in Rome.   It is said that Julia planted a pink-blossomed almond tree near his grave.   Today, the almond tree remains a symbol of abiding love and friendship.   On each February 14, Saint Valentine's Day, messages of affection, love, and devotion are exchanged around the world."

MWL. NYERERE NA UCHUMI WA KUJITEGEMEA

JITIHADA ZETU ZILENGE KUJITOA KATIKA HALI YA UCHUMI TEGEMEZI

Mapema mwezi huu kulikuwa na semina ya wazalishaji wakubwa ambayo iliandaliwa na Chama ili kubadilishana mawazo juu ya maswala mbalimbali. Ufuatao ni muhtasari wa hotuba ya mwenyekiti wa Chama, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, wakati akifunga semina hiyo kwenye Chuo cha Usimamizi wa Fedha, Dar es Salaam.

Ndugu Rais na ndugu wanasemina,

Sasa imefikia wakati tuifunge semina hii. Hatuna muda mrefu sana wa kutumia kwa kufunga, na kwa sababu haya nitakayoyasema hayakuandikwa sina hakika yatachukua muda gani, lakini wale ambao mmefunga mtaniwia radhi nikivuka muda kidogo.

Sasa kwanza mimi ningeanza na shukrani... ninalazimika kuanza kwa shukrani kwa sababu mbili. Kwanza, semina hii niliitaka mimi. Niliiomba mimi na ninawashukuru wote waliojitahidi kuandaa mpaka ikawezekana.

Pili, ninawashukuru sana watoa mada wa leo. Bahati mbaya muda umekwisha, sikuwapa nafasi ya kurudia. Wenzao niliwapa nafasi ya lakini watoa mada wa leo sikuwapa nafasi. Lakini watoa mada wote nawashukuru kwa ubora wa mada zao na jinsi walivyozitoa kwetu. Nawashukuru sana.

Tatu, nawashukuru wote walioshiriki kwenye mjadala huu. Kwa upande wangu mimi na kwa upande wetu wale tuliofikiria kuandaa hii, tumeona kama mazungumzo haya yamekuwa mazungumzo ya manufaa.

Baadhi yetu nasema pengine semina hii isiwe mara moja lakini kwa baadhi yetu nadhani hata kama haitakuwa katika hali sasa, hatuwezi kila wakati tunamchukua Rais mara nyingine hivi tukae nae siku tatu maana Rais anazo kazi nyingi huko.

Lakini tunaweza kutafuta njia nyingine ya kuweza kuendelea na mazungumzo yanayotuchanganya changanya. Watu wa namna hii katika ngazi mbalimbali si lazima tuwe na Rais na baadhi ya viongozi wa   Chama na Serikali ambao wanazo kazi zao.

Lakini nasema kwa kifupi napenda kuwashukuru sana wote waliotusaidia kutufikisha mazungumzo haya kwa ubora wa mazungumzo na kwamba mmeweza kusema waziwazi. Mimi nimefarijika sana na kwamba mmeweza kusimama na kusema kila mtu anavyoona.

Kama nilivyosema nilipokuwa nikifungua semina, mimi sasa hivi nina kofia mbili. Kofia moja, mwenyekiti wa Chama chenu, na kofia nyingine Mwenyekiti wa Tume ya Kusini. Kusema ukweli, kazi zote mbili zinafanana, lakini ni matatizo tu. Tunazungumza matatizo yetu haya na miaka miwili mitatu nimeweza kuyaona matatizo haya.

Ninalosema karne ya 21 bado kuna miaka 11 tu inakuja, tatizo letu la msingi ni la nchi za Kusini zote. Nalo ni hili, uchumi wetu una sifa mbili. Sifa ya kwanza ya uchumi, duniani; uchumi huu unapitanapitana. Uchumi wa Tanzania ni tofuti na uchumi wa Brazil au wa India au wa China au hata wa Zimbabwe. Na huu ni uchumi duni kwa maana mbili. Maana ya kwanza, maana ya hali halisi ni hii inachanganya zote, maana ya hali halisi ni kwamba ukienda kwa mfano tu, sisi tunalima kwa jembe la mkono, tunatumia mikokoteni. India, mpaka leo, wanatumia mikokoteni ya ng’ombe, pale New Delhi ziko sekta utazikuta ni sekta za maendeleo lakini ni uchumi wa namna hii, nasema ni duni kwa namna hii. Namna ya kwanza ni hiyo hiyo ni kweli kwa sababu bado kuna shughuli nyingine zinafanywa katika hali ya nyuma kabisa.

Pili, uchumi duni kwa kulinganisha na wenzetu wa Kaskazini. Ukitazama sisi na ukitazama uchumi wao, uchumi wetu uko nyuma. Sifa ya kwanza ya uchumi wetu ni duni, hii sifa ya uduni ni mbaya lakini si mbaya sana hii, inawezekana ikawa ni kama la kawaida. Kwa nini? Kwa sababu kama kuna duni kule ni uchumi ulioko nyuma kama maana yake ingekuwa uchumi mchanga, uchumi ambao haujakomaa. Juzi nilitumia mti, mti mmoja umepandwa ni mkubwa umestawi na ndege wa anga wanakuja mle wanastawi. Mti mwingine wa mbegu ile ile umepandwa lakini bado ni mdogo lakini wa aina ile ile na bado unakua.

Sasa unaweza ukawa na mti huu umekomaa, huu bado lakini ni mti. Hali yake ni nzuri tu, upe muda na kuumwagia maji na siku moja mti huu kwa namna yake utakuwa imara na kuanza kutoa matunda. Kwa maana hiyo, uduni huo ni uchumi uko nyuma isingekuwa mbaya kama ingekuwa sifa hiyo peke yake tu tungeweza kuutilia mbolea uchumi ule utabadilika.

Lakini uchumi huu una sifa ya pili, ni uchumi tegemezi. Ni uchumi unaotegemea Kaskazini, tena sifa ile ya kutegemea inaupa ugonjwa. Kwa hiyo, utegemeaji ule ni kama maradhi; maradhi hayatokani na uduni peke yake, maradhi, hasa ya uchumi wetu ni ule utegemezi wake kama kama hivyo, ni duni tu kwa maana ya uchumi mchanga, haujakomaa lakini una afya. Ni sawa na mtoto, unakua tu, lakini ni uchumi tegemezi. Ni ugonjwa. Ni kilema. Ni uchumi kilema.
Safari moja jeshi letu nadhani lilikuwa likiadhimisha miaka 20 ya kuanzishwa jeshi. KamaCommander-in-Chief, nilikwenda pale uwanjani na jeshi letu lilipitisha silaha zake na zana za vita. Zilikuwa nyingi, gwaride zuri, nikaziona zote – zote zinatoka nje, zote kabisa. Leo siku ya kujivunia kidogo, jeshi letu limetimiza miaka 20. Kwa hiyo ni siku ya kujivuna, lakini hii paredi, tunaparedi nini? Hatuparedi jeshi, tunaparedi biashara. Huwa ni gwaride la namna hii. Tangu hapo huwa natembea nakwenda kwenye nchi za ndugu zetu, siku zingine nakaribishwa nayaona maparedi hayo hayanivutii, isipokuwa yanavutia kwa ufanisi wa Kaskazini wa kuvuta pesa za maskini hawa wa Kusini.

Kwa hiyo, kama unatazama magwaride ya kijeshi, kama unatazama viwanja vya ndege, sisi hatuna ndege nyingi sana, lakini hata Dar es Salaam nenda uone ndege ziko pale. Hata Dar es Salaam utakuta ndege pale. Magwaride ya majeshi, viwanja vya ndege, hata nchi zenyewe ziwe zina mali nyingi kama vile nchi zenye uwezo wa kutoa mafuta, utakuta zimejaa tele viwanja vya madege makubwa makubwa ya kila aina.

Mabarabara yetu katika nchi za Kusini yamejaa magari tele, ikiwa ni pamoja na Dar es Salaam. Kwa baadhi ya nchi zingine, hata bidhaa madukani, maduka yamejaa tele – zimetengenezwa wapi? Yote hayo kama magwaride, kama ni viwanja vya ndege, kama magari, kama ni bidhaa madukani nasema kwa baadhi ya nchi fulani fulani hata kama ni Coca-Cola ni maonyesho, ni magwaride ya utegemezi kote katika nchi zetu.

Kwa Coca-Cola, kwa sababu Marekani wao wana nguvu sana kwa Coca-Cola, Marekani sasa anataka wote tuwe ni wanywa Coca-cola. Ndugu Mengi mkipenda msipende, mtatuuzia tu Coca-Cola basi Coca-Cola inauzwa tu.

Sasa uchumi wetu basi ni uchumi tegemezi. Uchumi wa nchi zetu hizi zote una sifa hizo mbili. Hili tatizo letu kubwa la msingi. Uchumi wetu ni uchumi duni, lakini uduni peke yake si kitu sana, lakini tatizo kubwa kabisa kabisa ni uchumi tegemezi.

Kwa hiyo tunajivunia ule ugonjwa… tunajivunia ule ugonjwa wala hatuuonei haya… unaparedi silaha za wakubwa, unaparedi madege ya wakubwa, unaparedi bidhaa za wakubwa, unaparedi ma-Coca-Cola ya wakubwa na unajivuna tu, unasema sisi tumeendelea. Ukimwambia umeendelea kwa nini atakwambia njoo uone barabara yetu.

Sasa nasema hilo ndilo tatizo letu la msingi watu wote – nchi zote za Kusini na hapa tujenge uchumi. Pamoja na kwamba uwe ni uchumi haulingani na wa wakubwa lakini ni uchumi unaokua.

Kwa hiyo jitihada zetu ziwe ni kujitoa katika hali hii hasa sifa hii ya pili. Kwa sababu bila kuitoa sifa hii ya pili ni vigumu sana kupambana na sifa ya kwanza. Kwa nini? Kwa sababu katika nchi kama Tanzania…, Tanzania si mfano mzuri sana lakini upo, zipo sehemu mbili. Acha ile Ndugu Idi Simba alikuwa anasema ‘informal sector’ na ‘formal sector ‘. Ipo tunayo sisi hapa na zipo katika sehemu zetu zote.

Tunao uchumi tunaweza kuuita wa kisasa. Uchumi wa kisasa ni ule uchumi uliochuma. Uchumi wa kisasa katika nchi hizi ni wa kigeni. Kwa hiyo, Coca-Cola, chombo cha kigeni ni mtambo unapokea tu pale.

Eh! Yuko Mhindi mmoja Kiswahili chake kilikuwa kizuri sana kuliko cha Babu Patel, aliniambia: ‘‘Mwalimu ee wewe sema nakwishakata mirija, lakini bomba je kwishakata?’’ Sasa mabomba… sasa uchumi wetu ule wa kisasa ni wa mabomba, mwanzo wake huko nje. Utazameni wote. Utazameni. Ni wa mabomba, na madhali hii sekta ‘modern’ ni ya mabomba, hii sekta ‘modern’ hii msingi wake ni nje, ni tegemezi si yako. Ni vigumu kwamba ‘modernisation’ ya ya sekta nyingine ambayo si ‘modern’ itatokana na nguvu yako, itatokanaje na nguvu yako? Si yako hii sekta ‘modern’, si yako hii.

Hivi upewe na Marekani kiwanda chake cha Coca-Cola hapa halafu ukiendeshe kwa madhumuni yako? Ndivyo kweli kwa kitu kingine chochote mtakachokubaliana naye umwendeshee hapa Tanzania kwa masharti yake, mnamwendeshea chake kwa masharti yake kwa faida yake. Sasa nasema hilo ndilo Tatizo namba moja kwa nchi zetu.
Na nchi zote tunazosema, zote ziwe za kibepari ama za kijamaa, madhali tatizo hili ni la kawaida kwao, hazina budi zipambane nalo. Ni yao yote ikiwa ni mabepari, wakiwa wajamaa ni tatizo. Na kweli, tatizo la nchi ni tatizo linawahusu wote.

Nyingine nasema lazima tushirikiane. Nasema kushirikiana humu si rahisi. Sasa mimi wenzangu nadhani tutafanya mapendekezo. Mapendekezo yetu katika kupambana na tatizo hili na msingi mmoja ni umoja. Ninasema tunaona jinsi tutakavyofanya na tutaiambia kila nchi tumieni uwezo wenu wa ndani wote kwa ajili ya maendeleo. Hapana kukimbia. Mnatoka nje haraka haraka kabla ya kuonekana uwezo wenu wote wa nyumbani unapatikana. Lakini tutasema vilevile tumieni kikamilifu ushirikiano wenu kwa ajili ya maendeleo.

Tukitaka sisi washauri tutakwenda nje, tunaletewa wabovu zaidi kuliko hawa, wengine wamefundishwa na hawa hawa. Sasa tumieni watu wa nyumbani hapa. Tumieni kikamilifu uwezo wenu wa ndani. Pili, kama nyumbani hawapo uliza Kenya – vunja hii kasumba yako hii, uliza Kenya, uliza Uganda, uliza Zimbabwe, uliza Malawi , potelea mbali. Kwa sababu katika hii lazima tushirikiane wote… Uliza Malawi : ‘‘Tunataka mtaalamu wa aina fulani hivi, hamna hapo mtaalamu huyu?’’ Uliza Malawi, uliza Zimbabwe, uliza Msumbiji, kama huna uliza sehemu nyingine Afrika. Hakuna. Uliza India. Hata hii akili tegemezi kwamba India ni nchi yenye nguvu za nyuklia kwamba haina washauri ambao wanaweza wanaweza kukusaidia nyie hapa. Huu ni ukoloni. Nasema tutapendekeza hilo hapa.
Kwanza tumieni kikamilifu uwezo wetu wa ndani kujitegemea. Pili, tumieni kikamilifu uwezo wenu wa ushirikiano katika ngazi mbalimbali. Nchi mbili, nchi tatu, nchi nne. Fanyeni hivyo na muuone utegemezi kuwa ni adui. Muuone hivyo na muupige vita, hivyo msiufurahie, mnafurahia maradhi. Mnafurahia ukoloni. Sasa nasema hii si rahisi. Kwa nini nasema si rahisi? Labda nitalisemea nitakapofika katika sehemu yetu ya pili.

Dunia imegawanyika hivyo sehemu ya wakubwa wana nguvu za uchumi na wanaitumia kuendeleza nguvu hizo. Nilisema Ndugu Kaunda alijaribu kuacha Coca-Cola nikamwambia : ‘‘Sasa utafanyaje?’’ Alisema: ‘‘Mwalimu, tunaanza mtambo wetu pale wa vinywaji vya nyumbani, unaweza kufanikiwa.’’ Nikamwambia: ‘‘Ken, huwezi… huwezi kwa sababu wako Wazambia pale watakuletea taabu kwelikweli.’’ Nimeambiwa jana kwamba nadhani sasa Coca-Cola watarudi. Wamesharudi kwa sababu sasa  mapambano hayo dhidi ya ukoloni mamboleo si rahisi. Ndugu Mengi, ni magumu zaidi kuliko mapambano dhidi ya ukoloni kwa sababu tulipokuwa tukipambana na ukoloni ilikuwa ni rahisi zaidi kuunganisha nguvu za ndani. Ilikuwa rahisi vilevile kwa nchi changa kushirikiana. Kwa Tanzania kushirikiana na India; TANU kushirikiana na KANU, kushirikiana na Indian Congress, kushirikiana na UNIP, kushirikiana na African Congress. Tulikuwa tunaweza kufanya kazi pamoja na marafiki bila tatizo, lakini sio sasa.

Sasa niiache hii niende haraka haraka. Nasema hili ni tatizo letu. Kwa hiyo tatizo la Tanzania ni hilo na pia ni la wenzetu wote; uchumi wetu ni duni kwa maana zote mbili. Kama nilivyowaambia juzi, tungeweza kulima kwa ng’ombe tungekuwa na maendeleo makubwa sana. Kwa hiyo, uchumi wetu uko nyuma, wenzetu wako mbali. Sisi tuko nyuma, uchumi wetu ni tegemezi. Ni uchumi tegemezi. Lazima tuutoe katika hali hii ya kuwa uchumi tegemezi. Na katika hali hii ya kwamba tunataka uchumi wa Tanzania uwe uchumi unaojitegemea ndio lazima wote tuwe pamoja kwa sababu tunamkabili mtu wa nje.  Hii haina itikadi, ni uzalendo tu.

Wajapani wanaulinda uchumi wao. Wanaulinda kwa mbinu za ajabu ajabu, na washindani wao wa Kaskazini, wengine hata hawazijui mbinu hizo. Wajapani anakwenda kwenye mkutano, wanaambiwa : ‘‘Lakini ninyi Wajapani namna gani, soko lenu gumu sana kuliingia.’’ Wanasema: ‘‘Tutajaribu kuona njia za kuweza kusaidia saidia.’’ Wanakwenda, sijui wanafanyafanya mambo yao huko, inabaki ngumu.

Wajapani mnauza magari mengi sana katika nchi yetu, hapo Mjapani anacheka kimoyomoyo: ‘Ah! Si mmesema tushindane bwana? Kwani tunayaleta kwa nguvu, si watu wenu wanayaagiza?’ Lakini namna yalivyokuwa rahisi kuliko hayo ya Uingereza, kuliko hayo ya Ujerumani, kuliko hayo ya Ufaransa, kuliko hayo ya Mmarekani, Mjapani anajua mwenyewe ni madhubuti kwelikweli, lakini ziko njia nyingine ndio… ndio… lakini si bepari yule? Kwani katika jambo hilo la kusema biashara ya Japani lazima iwe ya Japani, huu ni uzalendo. Kwa hiyo, nchi ya kijamaa inasema hivyo, na nchi ya kibepari inasema hivyo.

Kwa hiyo, sisi hapa Tanzania tutakaposema tunataka kiwanda cha Tanzania kiwe cha Tanzania lazima wote tuseme hivyo. Mimi niseme hivyo, Mengi useme hivyo, Patel aseme hivyo, Shomari aseme hivyo. Wote. Lazima iwe ni biashara yetu, lazima … lazima tujenge biashara ya Tanzania. Sisi si watoto wadogo, dunia inabadilika hii bwana. Tumesomesha watu bwana. Kulikuwa kuna wakati tunaweza kusema kijingajinga, lakini sasa tumesomesha watu wote, yani watu wote hawa tumewasomesha. Kazi yetu nyinyi mtujengee tegemezi. Sasa nyinyi mtukwamue. Ndio hamuwezi kwenda mnakwenda kwenye Benki ya Taifa tumekupanga kwenye Benki ya Taifa mnakwenda kuomba fedha katika Benki ya Taifa kusudi kutusaidia kujenga uchumi tegemezi, haiwezekani. Mtusaidie kutukwamua. Katika hiyo lazima tuungane wote. Ujumbe namba moja; Somaia unanisikia? … Ndio ujumbe namba moja, hili halina itikadi; Waingereza wanafanya hivyo, wamekuwa wakifanya hivyo.

Nyinyi wadogo mkiambiwa muungane mnasema “tunapotezwa na aliyetwambia”. Mnapotezwa; ni walewale wakubwa. Sasa nasema tujenge uchumi wa Tanzania. Kazi hiyo ya kujitoa katika ukoloni mamboleo tegemezi lazima mshirikiane – mabepari na msiokuwa mabepari, sekta ya umma na sekta binafsi; katika kazi hii lazima tufanye kazi moja. Tujenge uchumi wa Tanzania ambao sio uchumi tegemezi. Sasa ujumbe huo nadhani niubakize hapohapo.

Sasa baada ya kusema hivyo, nasema nianze kusema ule mgawanyiko wa nje na ndani. Mgawanyiko kati ya Kaskazini na Kusini, unaoleta unyonge, unawezekana pia ndani; katika nchi yetu nako tunaweza.  Sasa hivi nasema. Ngoja nitumie kofia yangu ya tume ya ushirikiano nizungumze, lakini nizungumze mambo yale yale.

Kaskazini na Kusini naona sana ni mgawanyiko kati ya kaskazini inayotawala na kusini inayotawala. Nasema lazima tusaidiane kwa sababu tunaishi katika dunia moja. Wote ni binadamu; sehemu ndogo iliyoendelea ya Kaskazini iendelee kututawala wengi tulio Kusini kana kwamba si watu sisi. Hii hatuwezi kuikubali hata kidogo.

Ujumbe huu lazima uende Kaskazini kutoka Kusini. Haiwezekani tuishi katika dunia moja halafu tukakubali. Kule kutawaliwa kwa nguvu shauri nyingine, lakini kukubali ni aibu. Mnatukana Mungu. Mnakubali unyonge. Kwa nini? Kwa hiyo lazima kutuma ujumbe huo. Sasa naivua kofia yangu naiweka.

Sasa ndani ya Tanzania: kwamba mgawaniko kati ya Kaskazini na Kusini inaweza kuwa nchi. Kwa hiyo, kutakuwa Kaskazini kugawa Kusini katika Tanzania. Tutakuwa na watu Tanzania wanaishi maisha ya Kaskazini tu kana kwamba hawako Kusini. Hii si kweli, haiwezekani… Walio wengi hawawezi kukubali hata kidogo. Hawatakubali, walio wengi hawa miaka 11 kufika karne ya 21; hawawezi kukubali mgawanyiko huo.

Kwa hiyo, mnaweza hata ndani ya Tanzania kuwa na kikundi cha watu wachache kinachotawala uwezo wa uchumi na kwa hiyo kutawala uwezo wa kisiasa. Na wale walio wengi ambao ukiwauliza wanasema sisi tuna uchumi tegemezi, hapa ndio wote wataitwa wa ‘informal sector’. Eh! Idi anasema wengi nchini Peru. Nilikuwa nchini Peru, sasa wanakuwa ni watu wa aina hiyo wengi wao. Tunaweza kuwa na mgawanyiko huo pia hapa. Sasa mimi kwa kofia yangu ya pili, wenzangu, nasema hilo hatuwezi kulikubali wote hapa katika itikadi yoyote.

Tunakubali hiki kitu tunachopambana nacho kimataifa tukionee haya kupambana nacho ndani, ambako tuna uwezo? Kwa sababu ulimwenguni uwezo wetu ni mdogo; ndani tuna uwezo.

Kwamba tutakuwa wanafiki tu, tunawaambia wa Kaskazini kwamba mgawanyiko haukubaliki wakati huo huo nchini Tanzania sisi-sisi tunajenga mgawanyiko huo, na tunadhani tunakuwa waaminifu mbele ya nani? Si mbele yetu wenyewe, si mbele ya Mungu, si mbele ya nani. Tutakuwa waaminifu mbele ya nani kama tutafanya hivyo?

Sasa wenzangu mmesimama hapa. Patel kasimama hapa akasema vizuri kabisa: ‘Tunasukuru kwa ushirikiano mzuri kwa Watanzania.’ Hapa amani nzuri hakuna utengano wa ukabila au nini! Yote kasema sawa, ni kweli. Mengi alisema vilevile, tuko hapa, tusingekuwa hapa bila msimamo wa Chama – tusingekuwa hapa. Sawa sawa, tuna utulivu safi kabisa, hii ni kweli kabisa; kitu chetu cha kujivunia kikubwa kabisa ni hicho tu – tuna utulivu wa hali ya juu katika nchi hii. Eh! Mwakitwange alirudia katika mada yake kusifu utulivu.

Lakini Waswahili wanasema ukiona vyaelea vimeundwa. Vimeundwa. Sio tu utulivu umekuja wenyewe tu. Utulivu wa Tanzania sio kwamba Azimio la Arusha limeondoa umaskini hata kidogo. Umaskini si huu bado tunaendelea nao? Si huu mpaka leo? Uchumi si huu huu bado tunasumbuka nao? Si kwamba Azimio la Arusha limeondoa umaskini hata kidogo, wala halikutoa ahadi hiyo. Azimio la Arusha limetoa ahadi ya matumaini. Ya haki, ahadi ya matumaini kwa wengi, ndio watu wengi wa Tanzania wanaendelea na kuwa na matumaini hayo. Madhali yapo matumaini hayo, mtaendelea kuwa na amani. Hapa tuna umaskini Tanzania, lakini hakuna ‘social cancer’. Inawezekana, sijui kama kameanza anza kidogo, sijui; lakini hatuna ‘social cancer’. Hakuna ‘volcano’ inayojengeka kwamba ukiweka sikio chini hivi, unasikia hiyo ‘volcano’ inajengeka na kwamba siku moja italipuka tu. Hatujafika hapo bado kwa sababu watu bado wana matumaini yanayotokana na msimamo wa Azimio la Arusha. Halikuondoa umaskini lakini limewapeni wote nyinyi wa chumba hiki, mabepari na wajamaa, limewapeni nafasi hiyo – kwamba mjenge nchi ina matumaini kwa wengi. Bila hivyo hamna, watakataa; na mtawafanyaje?

Hivi kweli mtawafanyaje? Hivi kweli Waswahili wachache nyinyi mtawale Watanzania kwa nguvu bila matumaini, halafu watakaa tu kwa amani – amani ya matumaini – matumaini yakiisha kutakuwa na ghasia za kijamii na nitawashangaa Watanzania hawa wakatae kufanya ghasia. Kwa nini?

Hivi sasa katika kofia yangu ile nawaambia Wazungu wa Kaskazini. Nasema hivi, msingi wa amani duniani ni haki. Kwa hiyo, kama mnataka amani ya kweli sio kwamba mashariki na magharibi mzungumze yaishe, hata kidogo. Kwa hiyo, mtakuwa mnaondoa migogoro yenu mtaona mmetengeneza namna moja ya haki, lakini bila kuondoa migogoro ya Kaskazini na Kusini, amani tutaikataa sisi. Haitakuwa dunia ya amani kwa sababu ni watu sisi na ndani ya kila nchi ni hivyo hivyo. Uingereza ni hivyo hivyo, Marekani ni hivyo hivyo, Ujerumani ni hivyo hivyo na Tanzania ni hivyo hivyo.

Kama wengi hawana matumaini, tunajenga ‘volcano’. Siku moja italipuka na lazima ilipuke. Isipokuwa watu hao wajinga. Wengi wa nchi hiyo wajinga, wanakubali kutawaliwa hivi hivi. Kuonewa hivi hivi na wingi wanao, wajinga hao. Kwa hiyo, Watanzania hawa watakuwa wajinga, wapumbavu, kama wataendelea kukubali kuonewa na watu wachache katika nchi yao. Kwa nini?

Kwa hiyo hatuwezi tukasema sasa eti umefikia wakati tukasema Azimio la Arusha tulisahau. Msijidanganye hivyo. Hiyo ni sawa na mjinga ametumia ngazi amepanda amefika juu, halafu anaipiga teke ile ngazi. Unaipiga teke ile ngazi, haya kaa huko maana tutakata jiti sasa. Sisi tuko chini, wewe uko juu; ngazi umekwishaipiga teke, tutaliangusha sasa jiti – nalo ni refu hili. Kishindo chako cha kuanguka bwana kitakuwa kikubwa kweli, tusiseme hivyo.

Sasa nasema hiyo nayo inatosha, baada ya kusema hapo inatosha; lazima tukubali msingi wetu, msingi wetu wa kujenga hiyo amani tuendelee na imani tuendelee. Wananchi wa Tanzania waendelee kuamini Chama, kuamini serikali, kuamini nyinyi wenye nafasi – wawaone nyinyi ni wenzao, wasiwaone nyinyi ni maadui zao. Waamini Chama, waamini serikali – nyinyi mliopata nafasi maana hakuna nchi watu wote sawa. Hata vidole vyangu hivi si sawa, hakuna usawa wa namna hiyo.

Lakini waamini serikali. Wakiamini Chama chao, wawaamini nyinyi mliotangulia mbele wawaone kwamba kwa kweli wote pamoja, kwamba mmetangulia lakini shabaha yetu ni ile ile: kujenga nchi ya haki. Hapo tukikubali msingi huo sasa nasema tushindane. Tushindane katika hali hiyo tunaendelea kujenga sekta ya umma. Kwa nguvu. Tunaipunguzia udhaifu wake; zingine za ovyo ovyo, zingine za kijinga-jinga. Tunazipunguza kujenga sekta ya umma, hata kidogo, msije mkadanganyika hata kidogo.

Tutazidi kuongeza sekta ya umma na kuifanya imara. Sio dhaifu hata kidogo. Lakini sekta ya binafsi ipo tangu 1967 na kabla, sasa fanyeni kazi nzuri lakini tukabiliane na watu wa nje kwa pamoja. Mtu ambaye tutamkataa sisi ni yule ambaye kazi yake yeye ni kutufanya sisi tu ni wafanyakazi wa nchi za Kaskazini. Huyo si mwenzetu hata kidogo. Si mwenzetu, Mengi. Jifanye bepari mzalendo, tutakuunga mkono asilimia mia moja kama bepari mzalendo. Hatutakusaidia, tutapambana nawe kama utajaribu kuifanya nchi hii koloni mamboleo kwa ajili ya mtu mwingine nje ya Tanzania. Tuelewane hivyo. Kuwa bepari, tengeneza fedha, lakini fedha hizo kwa ajili ya Tanzania – kwa ajili ya kujitegemea kwa nchi yetu – lakini tukupe uwanja wa nchi yetu uutumie kutufanya wafanyakazi wa watu wengine, hatukubali hata kidogo. Tutapambana na nyinyi mkiwa namna hiyo. Ndio maana sasa hivi tunasema waziwazi. Tujenge nchi yetu. Hatutaji, katika hali ya kujaribu kuutoa uchumi wetu katika hali hii ya ovyo, tutatumia uwezo wetu wa ndani kwa ajili ya maendeleo, ubepari na ujamaa. Tutazichanganya zote hizi kwa nguvu kabisa kabisa kujenga uchumi wa nchi yetu.

Lakini hatutajifanya kwamba eti tukisahau msingi wa Azimio la Arusha tutaendelea kubaki na amani katika nchi. Uwongo, haiwezekani. Kwa hiyo, lazima tukubali kushirikiana hivyo kwa msingi huo.

Sasa, mwisho kabisa nitasema haraka haraka. Jamani nyie katika jitihada hizi za kuanza kujitegemea kidogo, mambo machache yafuatayo tukubaliane tuyafanye. Kwanza, lazima tujitegemee kwa chakula. Lazima tuseme kwamba tutaacha kuombaomba chakula. Sasa nchi inajitegemea kwa chakula… sijui Patel zile eka zako 12,000 unalima nini? Pilipili? Lazima tujitegemee kwa chakula. Hilo liko katika uwezo wetu. Kusema kwamba Watanzania hawawezi kujitegemea kwa chakula ni uongo. Tunaweza kujitegemea kwa chakula.

Sasa tufanye hivyo basi, maana aibu sana watu wazima kuomba chakula kila siku. Na matajiri hawa hawana haya. Waswahili tunaona haya kumsimulia mtu kitu kama chakula. Kumsimulia mtu kwa chakula ni kumsemasema. Unampa chakula halafu unamsema kwamba watu hawa bwana kwao hawali. Akija kwako hapo atakaa wee haondoki, na anasikia hivyo. Sasa waswahili hawapendi tabia hiyo. Mtu unaweza kumsimulia kitu kingine chochote lakini chakula; chakula hasimuliwi mtu bwana. Lakini wenzetu hawa wakubwa, anakupa chakula huku anakusema bwana. Anakupa chakula kwanza halafu wakati uleule wanatuwekea vikwazo sisi tusijitegemee katika jambo la kilimo. Wao wanatoa ruzuku kwa kilimo chao, wana mapesa mengi kwa hiyo vilimo vyao ni vyenye ufanisi kabisa.

Kilimo cha Wamarekani hakiwezi kushindana wakiondoa ruzuku. Waondoe; kama hodari kiasi hicho si waondoe ruzuku! Maana sisi wametuambia tuondoeb ruzuku, tumeondoa. Ndugu Rais, na wao waondoe basi maana wanajidai hodari sana hawa. Waondoe, waache kuwapa wakulima wao pesa za bure. Wakulima wao na wakulima wa Kusini tushindane tu; kama wanatuweza, waondoe kesho. Si wanajidai hodari sana.  Sitaki kusema zaidi, nasema ingawa kilimo jamani, ndugu Rais, tujilishe wote hawa tunaolima, tujilishe. Hilo la kwanza, tujilishe kwa chakula; sisi tunaingia karne ya 21 bado hatujilishi kwa chakula. Majitu mazima, tumesomesha watu wengi sana, wasomi tele.

Pili, mavazi. Tulipofanya rasilimali zile kubwa katika viwanda tukasema tunalima pamba sisi. Sasa tunalima pamba, halafu pamba yetu tunauza nje. Watu wazima tunalima pamba, tunauza nje; sasa angalau tuanze kutengeneza nguo. Kwa hiyo, lengo letu la mwanzo, tulikuwa tunataka – tulitaka kutumia pamba yetu asilimia 60 ndani na asilimia 40 kuuza nje. Sasa sijui tunauza kiasi gani… Tunatumia theluthi moja, kama asilimia 30. Kwa hiyo, kwa vyovyote vile hatujafikia, lakini rasilimali inatosheleza. Kwamba kama viwanda hivi vingekuwa vikitumika kwa uwezo wao wote, pengine vingesogelea hapo au hata kuvuka viwanda tulivyonavyo. Sasa ninasema katika hilo uwezo tunao. Ingawa bado uwezo wa kutengeneza viwanda vyetu wenyewe hatuna, lakini viwanda hivyo tulivyonavyo tuvitumie basi angalau tujitosheleze kwa nguo – kwa mavazi – kwa maana ya mavazi, yaani nguo zenyewe na viatu. Sisi tuna ng’ombe, tuna mbuzi; tunaendelea, watu wazima tunauza ngozi nje, ngozi hasa… tufanye hivyo, maana uwezo tunao, sio wa kutafuta, rasilimali ipo tayari… Mengi, hilo tunaweza tukafanya.

Tatu, madawa, madawa… Madawa hili nalo tunaliweza bwana, hivi kweli au hata vidawa vya hospitali zetu. Ndugu Rais, kitu cha kutengeneza dawa za hospitali, maana dawa za hospitali miaka 11 kabla ya karne ya 21 bado hatuwezi kufanya hivyo? Hivi hatuwezi kuwa na orodha maana tulitengeneza ya madawa muhimu. Nasema madawa haya kwetu sisi ndiyo ya lazima. Hatuwezi kuyatengeneza?... Tuzitengeneze sisi wenyewe hapa, tuna viwanda viwili sisi hapa. Nadhani tuna viwanda viwili au vitatu sijui vya kutengeneza dawa. Na vitengeneze ama vigawane kazi; kimoja kitengeneze dawa hizi, hiki kitengeneze dawa hizi, hiki kitengeneze dawa hizi na kile tusichokiweza tukitafutie uwezo, tutengeneze dawa zile za lazima.

Tunayo orodha ya madawa muhimu, tunaweza kutengeneza. Kwa nini kwa afya ya watu wetu vilevile tuwe tegemezi? Hata afya ya watu tunakuwa tegemezi. Vitu vidogo sana kuweza kutengeneza dawa na tunaweza kutengeneza dawa. Najua wakubwa hawapendi. Brazil wanatengeneza dawa, wamebanwa na Marekani; nimeambiwa kwamba ingawa wanatengeneza dawa karibu kujitosheleza, hii sekta ya nyumbani ya dawa hii sehemu kubwa kabisa ni ya Marekani. Lakini hata hivyo, wamekabwa na wakubwa.

Sasa dawa angalau tutengeneze. Tujitegemee katika kitu kama dawa sio kwa kila kitu lakini kwa madawa ya lazima. Tuna matatizo ya afya. Sasa hilo nalo tuendelee kuwa tegemezi? Tunauziwa unga lakini miaka 11 kutoka karne ya 21 wanatuuzia vidonge vya unga wa muhogo, sijui. Tunalisha watu wetu, wataalam, nyinyi hamuwezi kutukomboa kwa hilo?

Vifaa vya elimu… vifaa vya elimu. Mengi, si ulianza na kalamu? Sasa tuanze, tutengeneze karatasi. Leo tunatengeneza vifaa vya elimu vinatupa taabu tuna watoto wengi wanaosoma. Tuna watoto wanasoma kama milioni nne. Mimi nadhani kusema kweli tunaweza tukawa na viwanda maalum tu kwa shughuli za vifaa vya elimu. Tunaposema kwamba tunataka watoto wa shule wavae viatu, tunajua viatu vyenyewe vinapatikana wapi? Eh! hivi viatu tu, kusema viatu, sijui watu wana viwanda vyao wenyewe, sijui maduka yao wenyewe? Angalao tuseme, kwa shughuli za shule, tunatengeneza. Hivi yunifomu zinatengenezwa mahali fulani, hizi kalamu madaftari yanatengenezwa mahali fulani. Tufanye hivyo, maana kubwa jambo hili, ni kubwa kwetu; kusomesha watu wetu ni kubwa, na uwezo tunao, sio kwamba hilo nalo tena ni kazi ya kuweza kutegemea Kaskazini. Hivi sasa ni balaa kupata madaftari katika shule zetu. Watoto hawana daftari, walimu hawana ile chaki ya kuandika.

Mwisho. Nimeyasema hayo: chakula, mavazi, madawa ya watu na mifugo, vifaa vya elimu, na spea mbalimbali. Yule Mhindi aliyekuwa akiniambia bomba ni za spea. Leo Tanzania mtu wa nchi anaweza akatupa gari lake bure bure, akasema hilo gari kuchukua bure madhali utanunua spea kwake. Kwa hiyo matumizi yetu ya spea hapa ndiyo huyu Mhindi alikuwa akisema bomba, lile bomba… lile bomba hasa linazoa fedha zinazokwenda nje bure. Kama lazima, sawa. Kile kitu ambacho hukitengenezi na huna uwezo wa kukitengeneza na unataka agiza kutoka nje.

Lakini spea nyingi ni bure, za magari yetu, za matrekta. Hayo tungetengeneza. Ndugu Rais, nimechukua muda wenu mrefu sana na (….) matatizo. Niwashukuruni sana.
